Cafe Visit: Cafe Egao

There are three things I look forward to when I visit cafe shops – a quiet environment, affordable but delicious coffee and food, and good customer service. Cebu is teeming with numerous coffee shops but not all exemplifies the criteria I’ve mentioned earlier. Cafe Egao is one of the coffee shops I frequently visit and share to my friends. Egao means smiling face in Japanese which is apt for this place. This place exudes coziness, comfort, and friendliness as well that will really put a smile on your face.

Cafe Egao offers coffee of different variant, shaved ice (my fave), tea, and some Japanese food/snacks. Free wi-fi is offered and there are also books and magazines (English and Japanese) are readily available if you want to catch up on your reading. My friend and I only ordered drinks but the staff were amiable enough to serve us free tea and biscuit and also service water without being asked. That is one cool service!

If you want to try this cafe, you can visit them on the address below or check on their official Facebook page here.
