Books vs E-books

I love reading! But there are pros and cons with reading the physical book and the now popular e-books (or electronic books).

In general, books will always have a special place in my heart. I love the feel and smell of books. I enjoy choosing the books at thrift shops,  book fairs, and bookstores. However,  it is difficult to locate the next book you want to read and not all titles are really available. Books can also be very heavy at times during travel and will take some space.

This is why I’ve learned to appreciate e-books. A lot of titles are now really available to download online in just seconds and voila you can read it using an e-book reader like Kindle, or using other devices like PC, tablet, or smartphone. The disadvantage of e-books is that you can’t physically feel and smell it. Nor can you display it in your bookshelf because it’s digitally stored. Also e-books are expensive.

Depending on your preference, you can either have both books or e-books which is what works for me. I read the copy where it is really available. Are you? #booksVSebooks
